How to install ICQ

1. goto http://www.icq.com/download

2. click on download link and save to your computer

(I suggest you turn down your sound before starting install)

3. double click on the .exe file to start the install

select you language
accept the terms of agreement
click on next

if you don't want ICQ extras installed
click on custom installation
untick make CIQ search default
untick make ICQ search my homepage
untick install ICQ toolbar
click next

make sure Internet is connected

install starts

when install is finished click on finish

Setting up User info

(keep personal information you enter to a minimum)

Enter
- your name
- date of birth
- user name

your finished and ready to start using ICQ

When finished you have a user name and ICQ number which allow others to conatact you
