Well today I finally have time to do more work on my uni stuff :)

On top of everything else I had a 1TB Hard Drive die on me and it took all the data on it when it died, I'm kind of lucky as my Dad sent me a link to an article about Seagate 7200.11 drives failing to boot, because bios can't detect them. So when my drive wasn't seen by bios I new why

I did manage to backup most of my important stuff a few days ago, but it's still a pain loosing that much data

After some reading I found a firmware update for my other 1TB drive and updated it quick smart, hopefully it doesn't die also

Hi Michael,
Sorry about your computer problems - that's a major headache!

Have been reading your blog and learnt a few things: all the search-types and your findings are quite impressive!

I think I'll have to make my blog a bit more curriculum-based (currently, it resembles a long drama - more problems than discoveries!).

Did you leave me a message to add you to the 'Study Buddies' group - if so, I've lost the original message (must have accidentally hit delete instead of reply-sorry!): there is a thread that was started by Peter - he can send you the password and url so you can add your profile to it (just send him a message).

I'll still look around in case I can add you another way.

Thanks, Tess

Hi Michael, I found your message (still in my trash - phew...and sorry about deleting it accidentally) and have forwarded the link to the study buddies blog which Peter sent me.

Just click the link, sign in (with your Gmail/blog password) and away you go!

Let me know if the link leads you elsewhere (ie doesn't work).

Thanks,

Tess :)
